◎The crushing chamber of a gyratory crusher is an annular space with a trapezoidal cross-section, composed of a moving cone liner and a fixed cone liner. Its shape is determined by the surface shapes of the moving and fixed cone liners. The shape of the crushing chamber directly affects the crusher's productivity, specific energy consumption, product particle size distribution, liner lifespan, and crusher structural dimensions. Therefore, a well-designed crushing chamber is crucial.
◎In a gyratory crusher, after entering the crushing chamber, the material continuously falls towards the discharge port as it is crushed, eventually being discharged through the discharge port. Within the crushing chamber, as large pieces are broken down into smaller pieces, the loose volume of the material gradually increases from top to bottom, while the width of the crushing chamber's cross-section gradually decreases. This reduces the voids between materials, resulting in a gradual increase in the degree of material compaction from top to bottom. Consequently, the material becomes more compacted with increasing compaction.
