2. Robust Construction for Long Service Life
The
crusher is built with a cast steel and steel plate welded frame,
combined with an extra-thick main shaft design. This robust construction
ensures a long service life even under demanding conditions. The
crushed products have uniform particle size, which reduces circulating
load and improves overall system efficiency.
3. Hydraulic Cavity Cleaning System
The
PSG series is equipped with a hydraulic cavity cleaning system, which
significantly reduces downtime. In the event of a stoppage or material
jam, the system allows for quick and easy clearing of the crushing
chamber, enabling rapid return to normal operation and minimizing
production loss.
4. Multiple Cavity Types & Hydraulic Discharge Adjustment
Each
PSG cone crusher model offers multiple cavity options, allowing users
to select the most suitable cavity type for their specific needs. The
discharge opening is adjusted hydraulically, making the process quick
and convenient. Additionally, a simple and reliable spring insurance
system allows uncrushable materials such as tramp iron to pass through
the crushing chamber without damaging the crusher.
The PSG series cone crusher operates on the principle of laminated crushing. The electric motor drives the eccentric sleeve to rotate through a belt drive and coupling. This rotation causes the main shaft to oscillate, moving the crushing cone closer to or farther away from the fixed cone in a periodic motion.
When the crushing cone approaches the fixed cone, the gap between them narrows. The material entering the crushing chamber is subjected to multiple forces including compression, bending, and shearing. Due to the laminated crushing design, the material is not only crushed by the cone surfaces but also by pressure between the material particles themselves. This significantly improves crushing efficiency and produces more uniform particle shapes.
When the crushing cone moves away from the fixed cone, the gap widens. The crushed material that meets the size requirement then falls downward by gravity. This cycle of crushing and discharging repeats continuously as the motor keeps running. Each complete oscillation of the cone completes one crushing cycle.
The PSG series also features a hydraulic system for easy adjustment of the discharge opening, allowing operators to control the final product size precisely. If uncrushable material such as tramp iron enters the chamber, the spring release system allows the crushing cone to lift temporarily, letting the foreign material pass through without damaging the crusher. After the uncrushable material is discharged, the cone automatically returns to its original position. The hydraulic cavity cleaning system helps clear blockages quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous, efficient operation. This makes the PSG series ideal for secondary and fine crushing in mining and aggregate production.
